Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Mater for the Ligue 1 match against Bordeaux, played at Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas on 27th October 2007. Les Athéniens came into this one on the back of a 0-0 draw with PSG and sat 6th in the table. A close game here saw the hosts come from behind to run out 2-1 winners after a Souleymane Diawara own goal had given Antoine Kombouaré's side the lead. Mater played the full match as he so often did for the side. He had been a regular since joining from Cannes back in 2002 and made 34 appearances in all competitions this season as Valenciennes finished 13th in Ligue 1. The defender spent 12 seasons in total with th side racking up just under 400 club appearances before joining Feignies in 2013.
