Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Niemi for the Premier League match against Blackburn Rovers, played at Craven Cottage on 25th November 2007. The sides played out a 2-2 draw in this one with Murphy and Kamara giving the hosts the lead on two occasions only to be pegged back by Rovers goals from Emerton and Warnock. Niemi played the full match, this was the Finn's final season with the club, and he made 23 appearances in all competitions as The Cottagers narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League on goal difference in a thrilling great escape. He earned his last international cap this year too in a 0-0 draw in a friendly against Spain and earned 67 caps in total for his country between 1992-2007 despite popular belief that the shot stopper was eligible for Scotland after spells with Rangers and Hearts.
