Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Liverani in the UEFA Cup Quarter Final 1st leg against PSV Eindhoven played at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on the 3rd April 2008. It was the club's best run in Europe since the days of Batistuta and Rui Costa when La Viola made it to the Cup Winners Cup Semi Finals. Having progressed through the group stage Rosenborg and Everton had been dispatched to set up a tie with the Dutch giants. Adrian Mutu gave the side a 56th minute lead but striker Danny Koevermans equalised soon after for the visitors who held on for a 1-1 draw giving them an away goal advantage to take back to Eindhoven. Liverani had rolled back the years in this campaign and was in great form, the former Lazio man started the match and played for 76 minutes. Mutu would turn on the style in the 2nd leg and Cesare Prandelli's men made it to the Semi Finals. This was the first and only time Fiorentina wore match details on their shirts in the competition in this year
