Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or won by Gobbi during the 2007-08 UEFA Cup campaign. La Viola enjoyed superb run in Europe this season. The side beat Dutch outfit Groningen to qualify for the Group stage before going unbeaten in Group C to reach the Third Round. Cesare Prandelli's men defeated Norwegian side Rosenborg and then Premier League outfit Everton to reach the Quarter-Finals where the journey continued as they beat Eredivisie titans PSV to make it to the Semis. Scottish Giants Rangers stood between them and the Final and the tie went to a shootout following 0-0 draws in both legs. Ultimately it was the Scotts who progressed to the Final in Manchester. Gobbi featured in 9 of the side's 14 UEFA Cup matches this season and made 36 appearances in all competitions in what was his second year in FLorenca having join from Cagliari in 2006. The left-back grabbed his first Viola goal this season in a thrilling 3-2 win over Juventus in Turin and stayed on for 2 more years with Fiorentina before joining Parma in 2010.
