Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Viane in the Belgian Pro-League match against St Truiden, played at Stayen on 15th March 2008. Cercle had smashed St Truiden 5-1 in the previous meeting between these sides back in October at the Jan Breydel Stadion and they looked to do the double with their opponents languishing towards the bottom of the table. The match ended in a Stalemate with Viane playing the full match despite picking up a booking with 20 minutes to go. The defender had been on the books of Cercle since 1990 and made his senior debut in 1997, since then he had cemented his place as key member of the side captaining the squad on multiple occasions. He made 32 appearances in the league this season as Brugge climbed to an impressive 4th place finish. He stayed with the side until 2011 when he transferred to Antwerp for one last campaign before retiring.
