Notes - Away shirt as worn at the 2006 World Cup where the side reached the Semi-Finals. In an eventful torunament, Portugal topped Group D with maximum points, before defeating Holland 1-0 in a bad tempered last 16 tie which featured 4 red cards. After a tense 0-0 draw in 90 minutes against England, Cristiano Ronaldo's winking antics lead to the sending off of Wayne Rooney in extra-time before a penalty shoot out victory. The side were finally beaten by a Zidane inspired France in the semi-finals
