Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Viáfara in the friendly match against England played at Giants Stadium, New Jersey on the 31st May 2005. This was the first meeting of the two nation's since the classic 1998 World Cup encounter and is the last to date. The Three Lions were on a tour having played USA in Chicago 3 days earlier. Michael Owen proved to be the difference between the sides here scoring a hat-trick which made him England's fourth highest all-time leading goalscorer. Mario Yepes and Juan Ramirez got the goals for Los Cafeteros with Viáfara starting the game and playing for an hour before being replaced. The midfielder must have caught the attention of watching scouts as he moved to the Premier League this summer with Portsmouth and later starred for Southampton too while at international level he represented his country 34 times in total
