Player issue features - Correct player size and style felt print professionally heat pressed, made from 92% nylon meryl and 8% lycra dupont, swapped with a Switzerland player and comes from their own personal collection - a signed letter verifying this will be provided
Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by a #16 in the friendly match against Switzerland on 28 April 2004, played at Stade de Genève, Switzerland. Despite taking the lead just before half-time through a strike by prolific striker Zlatko Zahovi?, Slovenia were pegged back in the 66th minute, and Hakan Yakin rounded off a comeback victory for the Swiss with a late strike to seal a 2-1 win. This match was part of a string of fixtures played after the Slovenians agonisingly missed out on qualification to Euro 2004, with a closely-fought play-off defeat to bordering neighbours Croatia. The last of this trio of friendlies would prove to be manager Bojan Prašnikar's final match in his third spell in charge of the national side, being replaced by former Yugoslavia legend Branko Oblak
