Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by a #17 during the 2004-05 period. Ukraine were still looking to qualify for their first ever World Cup Finals having narrowly missed out on making it to the 2002 tournament after a play-off loss to Germany. They were placed in an immensely competitive Group G alongside heavyweights Denmark, Turkey and reigning European Champions Greece as well as minnows Albania, Georgia and Kazakhstan. Andriy Shevchenko was the star of the show bagging 6 goals as the side went on to finish top and win automatic qualification to the tournament in Germany despite shaky performances in their final two group games. It was Ukrainne's first ever World Cup Finals as an independent nation and their first major tournament too. This light blue style of printing was often worn by the youth team during this period.
