Notes - Rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Pinillos in a La Liga match against Real Madrid played during the 2004-05 campaign, the side's first season back after a 40-year absence. Under new boss Bernd Schuster the Granotas made an impressive start but an awful run of form late in the campaign would not have the best end. Los Granotas lost the first match at the Santiago Bernabeu 5-0 after an exhibition of Los Galacticos with Ronaldo (x2), Figo, Beckham and Owen getting on the scoresheet. Levante played Madrid again in April losing out 2-0 when they were already flirting with relegation which would be consummated in the last game against Villareal. The defender left the side at the end of this season opting to sign for Racing de Santander where he would spend the rest of his career.
