Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to a #12 for a 2006 World Cup Qualifying UEFA Group 6 match against England. The Milli faced off against the Three-Lions for the first time in their history at the Tofiq Bakhramov Republican Stadium in October 2004 and put up a good showing falling to a narrow 1-0 defeat after Michael Owen's first half goal. The sides met again the following year at St James' Park in Newcastle where England ran out 2-0 winners after goals from Steven Gerrard and David Beckham. Rauf Mehdiyev was the side's #12 for the 1-0 loss in Baku and Jahangir Hasanzade was issued the number the following year for the 2-0 defeat in England, both were unused substitutes. Azerbaijan went on to finish bottom of the group but did pick up draws with Wales, Northern Ireland and Austria.
