Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Kostenoglou during a Champions League Group C match against PSV played at Philips Stadion, Eindhoven on 5th November 2003. This was the second meeting in the group between the sides, with PSV winning 1-0 in Greece a couple of weeks earlier. AEK were yet to win a match yet after having played half their games so far, with their only point coming in a draw against Deportivo. This match continued in the same manner as the Greek side lost out 2-0 after second half goals from Bouma and Robben sealed the win for the Dutch side. Kostenoglou did not feature in the first match, but played the whole game this time in his penultimate season before retiring. The central defender started his career with Skoda Xanthi in 1988, spending 6 years there, before joining AEK in 1994 where he spent the rest of his career, playing well over 300 matches until retiring in 2005. The Athenian side finished bottom of the group, losing four times and drawing twice, whilst achieving a 4th place finish in the Alpha Ethniki
