Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Carboni for the Champions League 2nd Group Stage Group B match against Ajax played at the Mestalla on the 27th November 2002. This was the opening match in the group and the teams saved all of the key action for the final minutes. Ibrahimovic put the vistors ahead in the 88th minute with what looked like being the winner but then in the second minute of injury-time Angulo found a last-gasp equaliser to rescue a point for Valencia. Carboni started the match and played for 74 minutes in a short sleeve shirt before going off for younger legs in Fábio Aurélio. Los Che went on to qualify from the group as winners but were beaten in the Quarter Finals this year by Inter Milan. Carboni moved to La Liga in '96 from Roma and spent nearly a decade at Valencia and was a regular during these glory years for the club
