Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Carbone for the Serie A match against Piacenza, played at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on 20th October 2002. The sides played out a 1-1 draw in Northern Italy, the visitors had taken the lead through a Nicola Caccia strike on the half hour mark but their advantage was cancelled out on the stroke of half time due to an unfortunate Giuseppe Cardone own goal. Carbone started the match and came off with 8 minutes to play as the Lariani looked to grab all 3 points in a match against their would be relegation rivals. The former Inter Milan and Napoli man was back in Italy after spells in England with the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Aston Villa and Bradford City. He made 23 appearances in all competitions this season bagging two goals as the side returned to Serie B after a 17th place finish.
