Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to a #13 ahead of a 2002 World Cup Qualification UEFA Group 6 match against Belgium. The Tartan Army drew with the Red Devils 2-2 at Hampden Park in March 2001 after Daniel Van Buyten's last minute equaliser, the Scots had been leading 2-0 after a brace from Billy Dodds but had to settle for just a point. Then in September they fell to a 2-0 defeat and saw their hopes of qualification all but disappear in Brussels after goals from Nico Van Kerckhoven and Bart Goor. Craig Brown's side eventually finished 3rd in Group 6 just 2 points off runners-up Belgium and 3 points adrift of winners Croatia despite only losing one game. Hearts centre-back Steven Pressley was issued #13 for the match at Hampden whilst Dunfermline Athletic midfielder Barry Nicholson was #13 for the game in Belgium, both of whom were unused substitutes.
