Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Brincat during a 2002 World Cup Group 3 qualifying match against Denmark played at Ta'Qali National Stadium, Attard on 24th March 2001. This was the side's fourth group match, having already lost two and drawn one, and they did not fare much better here as Denmark romped to a 5-0 victory with Ebbe Sand grabbing a hattrick and Heintze and Jensen adding the others. The minnows went on to lose their remaining 6 group matches as they finished bottom of the group with their only point coming in a 0-0 draw against Czech Republic. Brincat earned his first cap in 1988 and went on to play 103 times, scoring 6 goals, until his retirement in 2004
