Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Asamoah for the 2002 World Cup Group 9 Qualifying match against Finland played at Olympiastadion, Helsinski on 2nd June 2001. The match was a true real game of two halves, with Finland going into half-time with a 2-0 lead thanks to a Mikael Forssell brace. However, the Germans regrouped and responded with a second-half come back to secure a draw thanks to a Ballack penalty and the equaliser from Jancker. Asamoah played the full match, as DFB went on to finish the runners-up spot. He earned 43 caps between 2001-06, scoring 6 goals, whilst he spent the majority of his club career with Schalke
