Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Serkan in the Champions League Group D match against PSV played at Ali Sami Yen on the 30th October 2001. This was the final match of the first group stage and both sides were tied on 7 points going into it, only one could make it through to the next round. It was to be Gala thanks to a 2-0 victory over the Dutch visitors. A goal in each half from Yalçın and Erdem sealed matters in favour of Mircea Lucescu's men. Serkan came off the bench in the 70th minute to replace the misfiring Ümit Karan. Unfortunately Gala were drawn in a group of death in the next round and did not get any joy out of Barca, Liverpool and Roma. Serkan was snapped up from Samsunspor after his prolific form there and spent two successful years in Istanbul scoring 25 league goals before returning to his previous club
