Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Tapalović in a Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen at the Olympiastadion in Munich on 5th Febuary 2002. Die Löwen beat their northern neighbours in the first meeting between the sides on matchday 4 defeating Werder 3-1 at the Weserstadion. In Munich the side took an early lead through Aussie striker Paul Agostino but Bremen replied almost instantly thanks to Krisztián Lisztes. Following the break the Bavarians stepped it up a gear with star striker Martin Max doubling the lead before Thomas Häßler added a third from the spot to send Werder packing. Tapalović played the full 90 minutes despite picking up a caution, the Former Schalke and Bochum man appeared 31 times for the side this season as they finish 9th in the Bundesliga and reached the Semi-Final of the Intertoto Cup before losing out to Newcastle United. The midfielder earned all 3 of his caps for Croatia during this season which was his third and final campaign in Munich before making a return to Bochum.
