Notes - Ultra rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Tayfur for the 2000 European Championship Group 2 match against Sweden, played at Philips Stadion in Eindhoven on 15th June 2000. Ay-Yıldızlılar had suffered a narrow 2-1 loss to Italy in their opener and were held to a 0-0 draw against the Swedes here. Tayfur was an unused substitute for the match against Lars Lagerbäck's side but featured 3 times at the tournament as Turkey beat hosts Belgium in their final group game before losing out to Portugal in the Quarter-Finals. The midfielder won an impressive 44 caps in total for his country between 1994-2004 and would be part of the side that finished 3rd at the 2002 World Cup.
