Features
Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Sedlák for the Under-21 European Championship Group B match against England, played at Štadión Pasienky in Bratislava on 1st June 2000. The Slovaks were hosting the tournament and had beaten Turkey 2-1 in their opening match before playing out a hard fought 1-1 draw with Andrea Pirlo's Italy in their second game. England meanwhile had slipped to a 2-0 defeat against the Azzurrini before thumping Turkey 6-0. A solid performance Dušan Radolský's men saw them claim a huge 2-0 victory here. Szilárd Németh and Peter Babni? grabbed the goals as the side finished second on goal difference to Italy in the group went on to face Spain in the bronze medal match where they narrowly lost out 1-0. Sedlák started on the bench and came on for goalscorer Németh on 88 minutes, he was used as a late sub in all three of the sides group games and played the final 19 minutes against Spain. The midfielder went on to earn 2 senior caps for his country, the first of which came in August of this year in a friendly against Croatia.
