Notes - Quality boots produced by Kappa some time around the Millennium. The 'shark' boot was a concept based on creating a soleplate featuring studs shaped like shark teeth in order to improve grip under foot. The finished product was this boot made up of a plastic soleplate and a seven stud configuration where the 'teeth' face in different directions for optimum traction under foot. The upper is made up of part leather and part synthetic to give a lightweight but comfortable feel around the foot. This model comes in a simple black and white colourway, with a plain black enlarged tongue and Kappa logo each side of the upper. The shark concept did not last very long and this boot was later banned due to the risk of injuring opposition players.
