Notes - ery rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Hamann for the 2000-01 season. This green design was used in the 2002 World Cup qualification campaign and most notably and infamously in the 5-1 defeat to England in Munich. unately unlike 4 years ago it did not end in victory for the visitors. The kits first appearance came back in February 2000 though and a 2-1 loss in Holland and it so action at Euro 2000 again in a forgetable setback against the Three Lions. The Liverpool star Hamann was a regular throughout this time and would go on to represent his country on 59 occasions in total, playing at 4 major international tournaments.
