Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Knavs for the Champions League Third Round Qualifying 1st Leg match against Valencia, played at Tivoli Stadion Tirol on 9th August 2000. The reigning Austrian Bundesliga title holders were looking to qualify for the Group stage for the first time in their history and La Liga outfit Valencia stood in their way. A close game in Innsbruck ended in a 0-0 stalemate here meaning it was all still to play for at the Mestalla a fortnight later. Knavs played the full match in a bad tempered affair that saw 10 bookings dished out by English referee Mike Riley. Tirol went on to fall to a 4-1 defeat in Spain and thus had to settle for a spot in UEFA Cup. Knavs was in his fourth season with the side after joining from Olimpija Ljubljana.
