Notes - Home shirt as worn by Quinn as he forged a fearsome striking duo with Kevin Phillips which fired the newly promoted side to a superb 7th place finish. The 'big man' foil to 'little man' Kevin Phillips, Quinn was one half of an iconic striking partnership which contributed 44 League goals and resulted in Phillips taking the European Golden Shoe. Quinn would take a more involved role at the club post retirement, initially taking up a coaching role. The towering former striker would then successfully spearhead a 2006 takeover bid, which saw him briefly appointed as both chairman and manager. After a poor start to the season, Quinn stepped aside for compatriot Roy Keane to infamously take charge of the Black Cats
