Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Humphreys during the 1999-00 season. The Sheffield native entered his 5th season with the Owls having made his debut back in 1995 aged just 18. The signings of Dutch forwrds Gerald Sibon and Giles De Bilde in July 1999 meant Humphreys was sent out on loan this season. He spent the first part of the season with Second Division side Scunthorpe before and later Cardiff for a stint in Wales as Wednesday went on to suffer relegation from the Premiership after a 19th placed finish. He stayed on at Hillsborough until 2001 when he joined Cambridge United and shortly after Hartlepool where he would spend 12 glorious years helping the Victoria Park outfit to numerous promotions. This classy Puma design had been worn by Humphreys the previous year when the forward was the side's #16.
