Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Cooper for the 1999-00 season. Forest were back in the First Division having suffered relegation form the Premiership the season before and struggled to mount a serious push for an immediate return to the top flight finishing a disappointing 14th in the League. Cooper made just one appearance for the side this season coming on as a substitute for Marlon Harewood in the thrilling 3-2 away win over Stockport County at Edgeley Park. The midfielder stayed with the side for another season but was loaned out to York City in January 2001, he eventually man the move to Minstermen permanent at the end of that season. He later enjoyed spells with Alfreton Town and Eastwood Town.
