Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Thompson for the U-21 team between 1999-00. The Anfield hot prospect had played twice for the U-21's in 1996 and was recalled to the team in September '99 after establishing himself as a regular for Liverpool. Thompson represented The Three Lions seven times in total at this level, two of them being at the 2000 U-21 European Championship where he played 85 minutes.
