Notes - Rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Blomqvist during a friendly match against Denmark played at Malmö Stadion on 28th May 1998. The match saw Sweden sweep aside the Danes with an impressive 3-0 victory after a double from Jorgen Pettersson added to the first international goal for young prospect and Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg. Blomqvist was introduced as a substitute in the 75th minute with the game already wrapped up. Sweden had failed to qualify for the 1998 World Cup, finishing a disappointing third behind Austria and Scotland, but showed what they were capable of as they looked towards Euro 2000. Blomqvist featured 30 times for Blågult after first making his debut in 1994 and playing until 2002. He spent time with several European clubs including Milan, Man United and Göteborg
