Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to a #14 for the friendly match against Holland played at Philips Stadium, Eindhoven on the 1st June 1998. The match was a warm-up for the upcoming 1998 World Cup in France and Paraguay raced into an early lead here thanks to a long range Jorge Luis Campos volley. Unfortunately the Dutch responded with 5 goals to cruise to an emphatic 5-1 victory. No #14 featured in the match despite Paulo Cesar Carpeggiani making 4 changes in the second half with this shirt believed to have been issued to an unused substitute. Los Guaraníes went on to impress at the World Cup earning draws with Bulgaria and Spain before beating Nigeria to reach the Round of 16 losing out to eventual winners France.
