Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Le Saux during a King Hassan II Cup game against Belgium played at Stade Mohammed V, Casablanca on 29th May 1998. This was a minor international tournament that took place in Morocco featuring the hosts, France, England and Belgium, as a warm up for the participating teams of the 1998 FIFA World Cup, taking place two weeks before the competition. The Three Lions had had defeated Morocco 1-0 in their first match thanks to a goal from boy wonder Michael Owen. The match against Belgium finished 0-0 and went to penalties, which saw England lose out 5-4 after misses from Rob Lee and Les Ferdiand. Le Saux played the full match in both games of the competition, contributing to his 36 caps, including 4 appearances at France '98 where the side lost out in familiar fashion on penalties to Argentina in the Round of 16. The winger who converted to left back in his later playing career, played over 400 Premier League games with Chelsea, Blackburn and Southampton
