Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Humphreys during the 1998-99 season. The Sheffield native continued to feature for the Owls this season having made his debut back in 1995 aged just 18. He made 20 appearances in all competitions this season as Danny Wilson's side finished 12th in the top flight. Highlights for the forward included a tally in the 4-0 thumping of West at Upton Park in January and an FA Cup brace in the 4-1 victory over Norwich City. He was sent out on loan the previous year to Scunthorpe and then Cardiff City and had his squad number changed to #20 as this design rolled over and Wednesday suffered relegation to the second tier. Humphreys stayed on at Hillsborough until 2001 when he joined Cambridge United and shortly after Hartlepool where he would spend 12 glorious years helping the Victoria Park outfit to numerous promotions.
