Notes - Home shirt as worn by Nilis in his final season in Holland as he transferred to English Premier League side Aston Villa in July 2000. The Belgian was remembered fondly by the Eindhoven faithful for his composer in front of goal. His goals to games ratio remains nothing short of spectacular. He had finished as the Eredivisie's top scorer in 1996 and 1997 and it seemed only fitting that he should lead the side in goals as they stormed to the title in coach Eric Geret's first season in charge in what was the striker's last season at the Phillips Stadium.
