Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Bjornebye in the 1998 World Cup Qualification Group 3 match against Finland played at Olympiastadion, Helsinski on the 20th August '97. The two teams had meet earlier in the group in Oslo, with the legendary striker Ole Gunnar Solskjær rescuing a 1-1 draw with a trademark late goal to equalise. The return fixture was a much more one-sided event with Norway romping to a 4-0 win, including goals from strikers and brothers Tore Andre and Jostein Flo. The side comfortaby finished top of the group, securing a place at France '98 for their third apperance at a World Cup Finals. Bjornebye played the full match and represented his country 76 times in total and is best known at club level for his 8 years at Liverpool in the Premier League
