Notes - Ultra rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Elimelech for the 1994 World Cup Qualifying UEFA Group 6 match against Sweden, played at Råsunda Stadion in Stockholm on 2nd June 1993. The Swedes had run out 3-1 winners in Tel Aviv the previous year and Israel were still looking for their first win in the group. A difficult night in the Swedish capital saw the visitors fall to a 5-0 defeat as Tomas Brolin bagged a hat-trick. Elimelech started on the bench but entered the fray as a second half substitue as Israel went on to finish bottom of Group 6 but did pick up an impressive 3-2 win over France in Paris. The defensive midfielder won 4 caps in total for his country all of which came in 1993. At club level he spent the bulk of his career with Hapoel Be'er Sheva in two seperate spells.
