Notes - Ultra rare home shirt believed to have been worn by Pedersen during the US Cup match against USA at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on 22nd January 1997. The sides were competing in the annual US Cup Round Robin Tournament alongside Peru and Mexico. The Danes had lost their opening game to Mexico 3-1 but fended of the Peruvians two days later to win 2-1, the USA meanwhile had lost to Peru 1-0. The rain poured on a windy California evening and the Danes stormed to an early 2-0 lead against the hosts thanks to a brace from soon to be Blackburn Rovers striker Per Pedersen. The USA clawed a goal back through a belting free kick from New England Revolution star Joe -Max Moore. However, the Danes restored there 2 goal cushion just before half time as Per Pedersen completed a first half hatrick. The visitors scored a fourth early on in the second half to complete a 4-1 thumping over the hosts. Ulric Pedersen played the full 90 minutes as Mexico claimed the Trophy after beating the USA in the final match of the tournament. The OB Odense midfielder featured in various one off international tournaments for Denmark during the 1990's that weren't considered fully official. He also played multiple times for the nation's youth and reserve sides.
