Notes - Classic design home shirt as worn by Carbone in one of the most infamous moments in Premiership history, the Di Canio push on referee Paul Alcock after being sent off against Arsenal. His partner in crime was banned for 11 matches though Carbone's 11 Premiership goals helped seal the Owls' 12th place finish and gained him the club's Player of the Season. Following compatriot Di Canio's departure for West Ham and the break up of their partnership in 1999 this shirt signalled the end of a great era at Hillsborough - with relegation eventually following in 1999-00
