Player issue features - Correct player size LNF print and patch professionally heat pressed, transfer material crest and Canal+ sponsor, design not commercially available, comes from the players own personal collection - a signed letter verifying this will be provided


Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Boffin for the Coupe de la Ligue Round of 32 against Gueugnon played at Stade Jean Laville on the 5th January '98. In this the 4th edition of the competition all teams had to play in Adidas manufactured shirts. This was Boffin's first season at the Stade Saint-Symphorien after signing from Anderlecht. Les Grenats were flying high in Division 1 going into this tie but they were made to work hard for a place in the next round by second tier Gueugnon. The side fell behind early on but were able to turn it around with goals from Pires and Lukic. Boffin was an unused substitute for this game. Metz then beat Martigues to progress to the Quarter Finals where an away version of this design was used with an SFR sponsor as the side were knocked 1-0 by PSG. Boffin went on to enjoy three and a half seasons in north-east France before returning to his first club Sint-Truiden in January '01 while winning 53 caps for Belgium and represented his country at three World Cup Final's
