Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Cousin in the Coupe de la Ligue Round of 16 against Metz played at Stade Francis Turcan on the 31st January '98. In this the 4th edition of the competition all teams had to play in Adidas manufactured shirts and the side played in shirts sponsored by San Marina in the league. This was Cousin's debut season in the first team at the club after working his way up from the lower leagues in France. Martigues were 15th place in Division 2 while Metz were top of Division 1 going into this match so expectations were not high. Superstar winger Robert Pires put the visitors ahead and Vladan Lukic wrapped up the victory in the second half, the game finishing 2-0. Cousin moved on to Niort for 98-99 but it was at Le Mans where we really began to make his name, 54 caps for Gabon and stints at RC Lens, Glasgow Rangers and Hull City followed for the frontman
