Notes - Rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Yorke in a Premier League match during the 1997-98 season. John Gregory took over from Brian Little and took the side into the UEFA Cup with a 7th place finish in what would be the striker's final season at Villa Park. With Manchester United interested, Gregory initially pushed for a swap deal including Andy Cole, but once that did not materialise the Midlands club accepted a £12.6m bid and Yorke ended his association with Villa having scored 73 goals in 231 League games.
