Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued for the 1998 World Cup Qualification Group 7 match against Holland played at King Baudouin Stadium, Brussels on the 14th December '96. The rivals had been drawn in the same group just like at USA '94 where Belgium had won the last encounter between the two. Both teams went into this match having won their opening two games and both were gunning for top spot in the group, something had to give. Unfortunately for Belgium it did but in the way they feared the most. Holland left Brussels with an emphatic 3-0 win, their biggest on Belgian soil since 1960. Bergkamp and Seedorf put the visitors in control in the first half and Wim Jonk wrapped things up with a late penalty. #13's identity has not been confirmed but did not feature in this game.
