Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Thern in the Citta di Roma friendly match against Ajax played at Stadio Olimpico on the 9th February 1997. The mid-season tournemant in Rome had already seen I Giallorossi thump German side Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-0. The game against the Dutch giants was a closer affair with Roma winning a thrilling game 2-1. This was Thern's last season with the club, the Swede had moved to the Italian capital from rivals Napoli in 1994 and made 69 appearances for La Lupa during his time at the Stadio Olimpico scoring 3 goals. The former Malmö and Benfica man swapped Italy for Scotland in the summer of 1997 joining Glasgow based side Rangers. Thern made his last appearances for the Swedish national side during this campaign, he earned 75 caps in total for Blågult between 1987-97.
