Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Kanchelskis in 1996-97. The Russian winger joined Fiorentina in January 1997 from Everton, where he had spent the last season and a half. He featured 9 times for the side this season, before being injured in a match against Roma in May which ended his season, as Fiorentina went on to finish a disappointing 9th in Serie A. However, they did reach the Semi-Finals of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup where they lost out to eventual champions Barcelona. Kanchelskis stayed with La Viola for one more full season, before departing for Rangers, having played 27 times and scoring 2 goals in an injury ravaged spell. The skillful attacker is mostly remembered for his time with Manchester United between 1991-95, where he won several honours including a Premier League double. He earned 59 international caps scoring 7 goals over a period of 1989-98 which saw he represent the Soviet Union, CIS and Russia. Kanchelskis would not have worn this shirt, as the only time the side used it after he joined was in a match against Napoli, but he was ruled out due to injury. The patch has also been pressed onto the wrong sleeve
