Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Salmon for the Coca Cola League Cup 3rd Round against Liverpool. The Addicks played out a 1-1 draw with Roy Evans' side at The Valley forcing a replay at Anfield were they fell to a 4-1 defeat. Mark Wright and Jamie Renkapp fired the hosts ahead before Shaun Newton got Charlton back in the game. However, Robbie Fowler bagged a brace in the second half to knock the Londoners out of the competition. Salmon played the full 90 in both matches, the former Stockport and Bolton man made 28 appearances in all competitions to help the side to a 15th place finish in the First Division this season. He had joined the club in 1989 and stayed with them until 1999 when he joined Ipswich Town to see out the last years of a long career.
