Notes -Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Formosa for the 1996 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Qualification Group 5 match against Holland played in Valletta on the 10th October '95. The hosts put in a decent performance keeping out the Dutch until after the hour mark when goals from Arnold Bruggink and Martijn Reuser secured them a 2-0 victory. The side went on to finish 5th place in the group ahead of Luxembourg, also holding Belarus to a draw. Formosa was an unused substitute for this one and featured in just one of the side's qualifiers when he came on a late sub in the reverse fixture against the Dutch in Tilburg which ended in a 4-0 defeat earlier that year.
