Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Saliba for the 1996 European Championship Qualifying Group 5 match against Holland, played at the National Stadium in Ta'Qali on 11th October 1995. The Dutch had run out 4-0 winners in the previous game between the sides in Rotterdam back in March. Malta were still yet to win a game and had suffered an embarrassing loss to Luxembourg last time out. It was another 4-0 defeat here with Marc Overmars bagging a second half hat-trick and Clarence Seedorf adding the extras as the Dutchmen looked to claim top spot in the group. Saliba played the full match and featured in all 10 of the side's qualifiers as they finished rock bottom of Group 5. The midfielder earned a superb 68 caps in total for his country between 1988-2003 scoring 4 international goals. At club level he spent nearly all of his career with Valletta winning 6 Maltese Premier League titles with the Lilywhites in 16 year stint with the side.
