Notes - Home shirt from Euro 96 as worn in all the games leading up to the dramatic Semi-Final against Germany. The side got off to a perfect start with Alan Shearer scoring the opener but Kuntz levelled for the Germans and the match went into extra-time. Gazza was inches away from giving the side the golden goal but it was Southgate who was the villain of the piece, missing the crucial kick in the penalty shoot-out. Fortunately, Southgate later managed to make some money out of his heartache, by starring in a TV advert which mocked his famous miss.
