Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Miller for the 1995-96 season. In this campaign Premier League teams were allowed to name and use three substitutes for the first time meaning that in an emergency a goalkeeper could be brought on as an outfield player. This did not happen to Miller and the shirt is an interesting and unique piece. Miller joined the club from Arsenal in '94 and was the number one making 44 appearances in his debut season as the side won promotion back to the Premier League. The keeper lost his place to Gary Walsh in this campaign though and featured only 6 times as 'Boro finished 12th place
