Notes - Home shirt as worn by the Frenchman after joining United in late 1995. An Auxerre academy graduate and one-time France international, Prunier surprisingly ended up on trial with the club and promptly signed following injuries to Gary Pallister, Steve Bruce and David May. After an encouraging debut against QPR his disastrous performance in the 4-1 loss to Tottenham is forever etched in the memory of fans with some citing the defender as the worst ever United signing. Needless to say he left Old Trafford after 2 appearances.
