Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Selley in the 1995-96 season. The striker had broken his leg against Leicester City in February 95' and this injury unfortunately kept him out for the entirety of this season as The Gunners climbed to a 5th placed Premier League finish under new boss Bruce Rioch. Selley had cub up through the ranks at Highbury and made his debut in 92' and helped the side claim an FA Cup and League Cup double in his first season with the senior side. The following year he was instrumental as the Gunners claimed the European Cup Winners' Cup with victory over Parma. He never fully recovered fully from his injuries and was eventually sold to Fulham in 97' after featuring 42 times for the Gunners. He later had spells with a whole host of lower league and Non-League clubs. The side wore this shirt in 94-95 also but with a Nike logo in the number printing in this season.
